The Kedarkantha Trek Distance covers approximately 20 kilometers round trip, starting from Sankri village in Uttarakhand, India. This rather strenuous walk offers wonderful vistas of snow-capped peaks, lush meadows, and deep pine forests. It normally takes four or five days to complete, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and get used to the altitude. Due to its moderate elevation gain, the trail is suitable for both inexperienced and experienced hikers. Along the way, trekkers will travel through quaint settlements like Juda-ka-Talab and Hargaon, which offer opportunities for cultural immersion. Hikers are rewarded with vast vistas of the Himalayas at the peak of Kedarkantha, which stands at 12,500 feet and signifies the finish of the journey.
